Hi, new to forum, and maybe new to ZX10R ownership.....
Im procastinating tonight over whether to buy a ZX10R tomorrow.
Prices are low in the UK right now, £7000 on the road for end of season Pre reg brand new 0 mile machines.
Only thing is I really wanted a black one, and there arent any, so its the titanium/silver looking version I'll go for.
Anyone got this color, whats it like in the flesh? I like lairy looking colors, and silver isnt that lairy to me.
Whats the bike like in general, anyone want to convince me to part with the cash?
Previous road bikes have been in order RGV250, GSXR750 SRAD, VTR SP1, Bandit 1200 Streetfighter.
Cheers
Vinny

The minute you have an opportunity to really gas the 10 (especially after seeing your previous bike list) color will be last thing on your mind. But if you want to go truly fast, green is tho only color to have.

black is the most rare...hardest to find...meanest looking and fastest...not to mention looks better quality since its not that toy green or toy orange...silver is also nice...best colors are...black-blue-red-silver-green-orange

Storm, in 04 when the ZX10 came out the Black was produced in less quantity than the other colors....hence its harder to find.....when I bought mine I had to look all over KY and TN to find a black one. When I got to the dealership in TN, over 6 hours from my house they tried to talk me into another color and were going to give me a better deal on a bike of any other color.....Dealers words to me were, " I know i wont have a problem selling the black one, so I dont have to dicker on price as much as I would on the others". then he told me if I picke a different color he would knock off $500 more dollors.....I drove the black one home.....
06 might end up being a different story........

HDL you got that 04 at Alcoa Good Times didn't you? That's my local dealer and the only place I'll go. By the way when I got my 05 they also tried to get me to buy a Ti or Red colored one instead of the green. But to be fair it was late in the season and they had to locate it at another dealer and go after it for me so that made the is lacating a little more difficult. Good people to do business with all the way around. And having Zach there in parts sure makes a guy rest easy knowing that he'll get you the right shit the FIRST time!
