Wow
I am trying to get in the last few rides before it is too late. My tires are toast and the weather is in the high 50s in the mountains. But today I was up near Virginia City and when rolling out of a corner at 100 or so, I hammered it in second the front wheel came off the ground. So what? you say. Well that was at 6000 feet where there is a considerable power loss. This thing seems to like the cool air. It hasn't done that before that high up, it usually needs to be in first. Very cool. I wish it did it all the time up here.

Yeah, over here in Austin the other day I was in the hills...at sea level, with 40 degree dry weather, no humidity...man did this bad boy have some power! I didn't realize what a difference it makes!! I was rolling half throttle (maybe even quarter throttle) at 5-6 grand in 1st and the front was going up...it must be awesome to live in a dry sea level area thats 40-50 degrees, I mean at least for a few rides every year to feel what it's like to have that extra 5 rwhp punch out...pretty powerful.

yes it is Melbourne, Australia.
We get the for four seasons in one day.
I just put an akra slip-on and K&N filter on and she lifts in second without a problem.
Tomorrow i pick up my new front sprocket with a missing tooth. This thing is going to haul ass.
Hopefully she'll be upon1 with a snap on the throttle in third.
I'll let you fellas know in few days
cheers

Questions,
What is your altitude?
Did it lift in second before the filter and pipe?

So this must be the part where Fish_Antlers chimes in and says, "Ted, I can't believe that you ever doubted the 10's power." lol

So I wonder, do the 10's come stock running a little rich? Or lean? Mine blows falems stock, so I am wondering if I should just take out my PC3 and leave a BMC filter in there, so the slip-on and the BMC run more air to burn with the fuel. Or should I take out the filter AND PC3 and just run the slip-on so it doesn't run too lean?

It did lift in second, now it's too easy. I haven't put on the 1 down sprocket yet, hopefully this weekend and melbourne is 3 feet above sea level.
