That's the Jamie James R1. $38,000 price tag. 30 lbs lighter than stock, top suspension/brakes, quick shifter, rear-sets, carbon fiber wheels(-5lbs per wheel), Vortex sprockets/520 chain, alot of attention to detail all over the bike. I think it has carbon fiber bodywork and titanium bolts all over, but I forgot how much more hp/torque(17hp?), they didn't go too extreme in the motor, worked on the flat spot in the torque curve plus mid-range and wanted to keep it a reliable streetable engine but they focused on the handling of the bike for the most part. They had a write-up on it at Motorcycle Daily but took it down hours later, not sure why. One tester claimed it the best handling street legal bike he'd ever ridden, holds the front off the ground throughout 1st and 2nd gear with stock gearing.

Sweet bike but it costs too much.

I'd like to see a comparo against this bike, the Ten Kate CBR1000RR(195hp & street legal!), Ducati's 999R(not street legal), the top kit limited MV1000(forgot the name), and just to see where they would fall into place the R1 LE and ZX10/GSXR1000. Would be interesting if not for shits-n-giggles.
