I talked to the owner of the local Kawi dealership, he said he is going to some Kawi dealer show in Orlando within a week, and is suppose to come back with all the details - specifically MSRP.
He said the new 10R is reason to order sportbike heavy for next year's showroom floor...my deposit down is on the first black one that gets to this zip code.

Can't imagine it being much more than the others, if that. So should be in the
$10,500 - $10,900 range.

Well, they raised the price of the 12 for 2005 and the changes were by far minimal. I figured the Ohlins would push it over the standard 10,999 range....My guess is going to be around the same though...
How about that yen?

They have a contract for the damper...they will likely take the price cut somewhere else...so the bike will likely be the same price or at most $200 more. I don't think they would raise the price $200 and then another $200-300 for the damper...the damper will cost kawa like $100 each to put on the bike.

if they wanna give me one i will take it, if not I will keep my 04......I cant get over that undertail exhaust, though I do like the looks of the new tail section.....WHEN WILL KHI FIX THE DAM TACH????????
XL any thoughts....I know I will not buy another new Kawi sportbike until they get a new tach.....I put up with it on 2 of them so far, 3 strikes and I am OUT......

there are pic on the forum. analog tach digital speedo looks alot better than '04-05

If Kawi does get the dampener for that cheap...how much do you think they will charge for replacing it???

replacement costs will be the same as buying a new dampner. because you'll be buying it off of ohlins sorry!
