looking for pj1 flat shield sealant review
I picked up a staple on my read bridgestone bt014 and the tire won't hold air. I decided to try pj1 flat shield to see if I can finish the season off on that tire.
The diameter of the staple was smaller than a paper clip and it is still embedded in the tire. I added the bottle and it is holding at 41 psi.
Does anyone have any reviews of this product, good or bad? I'm going to let it sit for a couple of days to see it if holds and then go and thrash it.

I saw that post, of course AFTER I used the goo. Does anyone know if the goo works? Would you trust it?

Not really. I have used goops before and know many others that have used them on cars and bikes. It is great for a temporary fix, but in my experience it will fail eventually. AND it makes it almost impossible to repair the tire with a patch because the stuff soaks into the inner lining and makes the patch cement ineffective. This is why I like the plugger, not only does it fill the hole but it seals without any other chemicals.Very tidy, not like those goopy string plugs.
