I reckon it should come with built in paniers and a top box.
A huge box section centre stand and big flip up screen
Seriously, I think that if they put the underseat exhaust on it, it will be seriously cool. I like the clean look of the 6, and I'm not that bothered about the horses too much
Better suspension would be nice and I'd also pay more if there was a "race suspension" option.

Although the undertail exhaust looks way cool, one would think that it is way too far above that center of gravity. Keep the weight closer to the center.

+1 on the bellypan exhaust.
Think about this: huge muffler volume, short pipe distance, mass centralization, clean appearance, and the chance to use exhaust pulses to scavenge cylinders more efficiently than just header length, by clever reflection (think flowmaster) - a quiet exhaust that makes real power and needs no variable timing servos tuning the characteristic for different RPMs (not sure if this is totally possible, but I think the extra volume of the can may make things easier).
The only objection I can think of is bellypan fluid-retention requirements in racing organizations - if the belly pan volume is filled with a big muffler, are we reserving any space for 4 quarts of oil/coolant?
If not Ohlins, then Penske. Or a higher-price-point Showa or KYB peice. The problem is they are trying to keep costs low enough to where first-time buyers (squids) can be financed. My guess on the 'next cool thing on the 10R' will be the radial master and a steering damper.

I hate the undertail exhaust. It limits your options. Call me a traditionalist but I like the looks of the side exhaust. I also like having some room in the trunk(not that the 10 has much). There is also the power loss factor.
The new 10 needs an analog tach, steering damper, usable mirrors, braided lines and a much better street suspension.
Don't get me wrong I love my bike and I am starting to come to grips with it. But it does have it's short comings as a street bike. If I had bought this bike for the track I feel there would be very little to do.
Oh BTW it should also be available in Candy Lighting Blue.

I hope the 06 looks and performs EXACTLY like the 04 & 05....you know why? Our bikes will not depreciate AND we won't have people with different/distinguishable zx10r's on the road...us with the 04 will be just as cool as those with the 06...ya know...copy lexus and mercedes, ect....they will keep cars that look the same for at least 3 or 4 years.

Could someone explain how the undertail exhaust contributes to power loss? Also, I wonder how long we would have to wait to get a TiForce under exhaust for the 06 10r?
