KLLEN/AIS trouble....
I bought my 10R used and the first guy did the mod wrong I think. It turns out that both of the nipples(?) under the tank have nothing connected to them - no plugs, no nothin'.
I have no idea what the system looked like before it was messed with or what it's supposed to look like now. I read some of the descriptions of the procedure for the Kleen/Ais removal which is great - but without pics I'm lost.
I just want to circumnavigate the BS properly so I'm not losing any HP or damaging anything. I did a search but couldn't find any before/after pics of the process.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and if you're close, worth at least a case of beer if you can assist :-)

I have a stock 10r that I took to bits this w/e to fit my power commander. I'll try and take some pics for you this week to see if they help.
As I remember there is a fuel line that attaches with a clip to the fuel outlet at the bottom of the silver(ish) cup on the bottom of the tank. I guess that will still be there or you are getting no fuel to the injectors.
Then there is an electrical connection that fits into the plug on the l/h/s of the bike. The plug/socket are located on the bolted on hanger under your left thigh (as you sit on the bike) (don't know what this is for)
The only other thing I had on my tank was what looked like a simple drain tube for any overfill fuel to get away from the tank.
If you are talking about the airbox.......
There is a large (grey) hose that fits in the back, middle at the bottom.
as small black hose (drain???), that fits on the left at the bottom.
an electrical sensor that fits in the back of the air box, back/right.
As I said, this is from memory and I have no idea what they do.
I'll take some pics this week.
You may want to consider buying the workshop manual on CD from ebay. They seem to be very popular.
