Power Commander III (USB)
OK Folks,
So I got my Power Commander today
Now I have a dilema. When to fit it.
Facts
=====
Bike is less than a week old
Only done 140ish miles so far
Akrapovic slip on (street legal)
Questions
=========
1, Do I fit the PC now? (I won't know any difference as I havn't used the full rev range yet)
2, Do I wait until it is run in and I've done a few miles so I notice what's happening?
3, Do I fit it after the first service at 600 miles?
And the debate starts here.

I dont think it will matter when you put it on tim. the PC is only going to make it run better.....

It all depends on whether you are going to use a canned map or have a custom map done. If you are going to have a custom map done, don't have them do it until you have at least 1000 miles. Go ahead and put the thing on now and load the "canned" map.

I guess I'll try and fit it at the weekend.
And put the map for my exhaust and bike on it and see how we go.
Then if I can save enough pennies I'll try and get it pro mapped in the winter season, ready for spring.
Thanks for the advice.
