Is this a good setup?

I plan on buying a 10r when im 19 (currently 17) and i know they'll have new models out by then but still. I have a list of goodies i wanna get for this beast and wouldn't mind some info back you lucky bastards who already have 10 on whats hot and whats not. so here the list:

Muzzy full ti exhaust
sato rearsets
muzzy steering damper
Dyno jet power commander
hotbodies undertail
ivans timing elimonator
Vortex 520 chain conversion
D.I.D 520 chain
K&N air and oil filter
Brembo Brakes
Brembo master cylinder
NGK spark plugs
ohlins shock and forks
jet kit
mirror elimonators
zero gravity double bubble screen

fair bit of goodies there but i got 30 g's saved up for thing and wanna spend it right. Its only gonna be a street bike so i wanna know if its worth getting all that if its not gonna make a huge difference on the street, or if i've left something out. But i want this beast to go fast and i'll feed it the goodies it needs to do so. So ya any feed back or recomendations from you experienced riders would be awsome and i would apreciate it a whole lot.

P.S. also gonna spend some money on a racing school, cuz from what i've herd, a bikes performance is something like 60% rider, and 40% bike, could be off by a little but ya get the jist.

If i'm gonna die riding, the 10r will be my weapon of choice

Think suzuki gs500 or MAYBE kawasaki zx6rr, then after you are 21 or 22 with a few years of wrecking, then think zx10r...have you ridden a zx10? man you have no idea what sort of power this bike has...you want to add to it? What is the fastest, most powerful car you have ever ridden in? Get that and multiply the HP by almost 2 and divide the weight of the car by almost 2 and there you are....a zx10r's HP to weight ratio!

well to be honest i've never ridin a bike, but i got some buddies who are gonna take me on their dirtbikes to get a lil bit of a feel. I still have a couple years before i get a bike, and there is a safe riding course i'm gonna take as well as a racing school down in california before i go out and buy a bike just so a know kinda what im doing. But i know the ten's a beast, has a hell of alot of power, and i can't imagine what its like to have that between your legs. I just need to treat it with the respect it deserves.

Assuming you've got some experience riding, save your money on the goodies and do the racing school gig. Do a lot of them. Maybe you'll really take to it and get noticed. You're young enough to have alot of potential, if it's there to begin with. First, last and foremost, here's my advice as an "experienced rider", lose the grim reaper attitude. Jeez. man.... I can understand dieing for family and/or country; not for a motorcycle. Stick around and ride safe.

Life insurance. Lots of it. With me as the beneficiary. I'll even pay for it.

Careful what you wish for...

Not to hurt your feelings, but it's guys like you that make MC insurance so damned expensive. Before you go through all of that modding pomp and circumstance, you might as well just march on out behind the barn and shoot yourself.

Seriously man I hope you're fishing. If you aren't, whoever sells you that bike should be prosecuted after you're dead.

dude with everything you are talking and listing above you have the list of a dam Superstock bike that would make even Josh Hayes jealous.....start simple, I think the GS500, the EX500, or SV650 and even a YZF600 woudl make great first bikes, and the insurance woudl be MUCH MUCH less.....at 19 with no riding expierence you will find tha teven with a clean driving record, the insurance payment will be more than the bike payment each month. My brothe ris 19 and has a GSXR1000, 2004 Maladin edition. It costs him $9000 a year for insurance.....talk about insane......

Buy a stock SV650 and take as many schools as you can...and do as many trackdays as you can....when your ready buy a newer 600cc middle weight bike. After you turn 25, look to a 10.........JMO

Gave this same speach to my brother before he bouth his bike, now he regrets it......think about it

Not to mention the old hoary adage:

It's a HELL of a lot more fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow.

It's really really true.

That phrase is one of the bigger reasons why I ride my KLR 650 more than my 1000 gixxer around the city , besides potholes and sealant strips ........ and dirty job sites .
