What a great pipe. It has a great sound and that is only from putting it on cant wait till I get some miles on it to hear its true sound..
Workmanship on this pipe is as good as any other c/f pipe I have seen..

Great Work Kerry

took it out for its first ride and wow... More power and great sound what more do you need...
what a great pipe.. All my suzuki buddies were jeolous of that pipe...
I will say this Its the pipe to buy !!!!!! hands down...
If you want a loud pipe go with the 15" length and large diameter core.
I have the 18" with the large diameter core and Its great around town not too loud but loud enough to get noticed and when you crack it open wow what a sound... Music too my ears..
So Thanks alot Kerry

I also very much agree, I constantly get comments from my friends on how good my Area P pipe sounds. Now I'm trying to get my buddy to sell his graves on his 04 R1 and get the Ti Area P.

Oh my fucking god, why would you put a fugly ass solo cowl on a nice looking bike? It's a crime against humanity to defile your bike like that. I know it was only like $50 or something, but sheeeezo, what an eyesore.

The pipe hanger set is cute though. Never saw one with the dainty little loopy thing on the other side.

hey Bovine.....you need to learn this little thing called tact......look it up sometime.....personaly I put one on my bike as well, I never ride passangers nad dont have rear pegs, so why have a rear seat? doesnt make sense......

and there are alot of other people in here that have them on their bikes as well......thats why you have your bike andhe has his, so what you want with yours.......and we shall so what we want with ours......to each is own....

I am thinking of the Area P for mine. I just would like to see all the options in person and hear them so I can decide which of his to get. I am not wild about the wrap around bracket for the CF. I may have to talk to KBryant to see if there is something else we can do.

The laser cut, rubber insulated body mount is essentially the primary way most aftermarket companies support/mount carbon fiber mufflers. And in many cases, they/we do the same with stainless steel or titanium mufflers as well. This has shown to be one of the more reliable ways to mount carbon fiber.

I have engineered, tested and used other methods to mount carbon fiber on many different applications that undergo much higher stresses (mostly offroad). But always come back to the body clamp style for simplicity and reliability.

A couple of updated pics......these are taken after the trackday at RA this past weekend.....was running some 110 mixed in with pump 93.......

looks good to me.....needs a PC though, I think. Will finish out the season on it the way it is, then I will put the PC on it when I put on the rest of the goodies.....lol

Beauty! The more I look at your's the more I like the polished finish. I only did one other before yours ("D"). The blue tint looks sweet. Now if you'll just ride a little harder and use MR9, you'll get it to turn blue all the way up to the muffler inlet! Don't make me come back there and do it for you.

hahahahahha.....I dont usually use anything but pump gas, but a buddy had the 110 left over so I threw it in the bike. I think it pulled a bit better down the straight with it, but its hard to tell....I am very glad I had you polish the midpipe and endcaps...they look sharp, I get lots of compliments on them.....

Have you guys seen the M4 highmounts in carbon? that Area P looks awesome but the M4 high makes heads turn, even the 05 gixxer owners wish they had a 10r with the M4 high on there...no wrap around bracket, extremely light and makes tons of HP for a slip-on...but best of all it looks freakishly sweeeet!!

I saw an M4 the other day, my buddy put one on his bike....I like the mount system, but think the finish on the AreaP is better, adn the AreaP has a much better sound....IMO
