Is your exhaust valve (by the can) noisy?

When I start my bike you can hear it open or close; it is a squeeking noise. Anyone else?

Does the exhaust valve really help with the bottom end power, or is there little difference when disabling it?

If you take you pillion seat off and take out the panel between the main seat and the pillion, you can see the servo motor.

With this removed, turn the bike on and you can see it move through it's full range of movement. This is supposed to happen.

What you'll also hear is the injectors priming.
