I go into the 200's all the time at that temp. but 237 is off the charts. You got problems. I wouldn't ride the bike again until the coolant is flushed and you might want to invest like I am getting ready to do in a Muzzy aftermarket raidiator fan for only $35 it lowers the temps by 10 degrees.

Coolant flushed? It's less than a year old. I will talk to the stealership. Maybe they have heard of such problems. That's what warranty is all about. Thanx for letting me know what is normal.

If it doesn't pop the cap, and the overflow bottle is empty upon cool-off . No worries. 230F is not uncommon in today's emission certified vehicles. Having seen the temp data on turbo drag race engines, and subsequently the pistons and bores - well, they can get ALOT hotter if things aren't going well before damage appears.
