Micron Exhaust Question
I have been thinking about exhausts for my ZX10, and I can get a very good price on a Micron system (my brother is a dealer), I had one on my ZX6RR and loved it, adn he has one on his GSXR1000 and loves his. But I havent heard or seen anyone with one on the ZX10 yet. So has anyone seen one, or have one, or even heard one? And if so what kind of power are they making?
The serpent header design look very similar to the Akro Evo 2 header at the bend, but the tubes look different lengths. I am not so much worried about weight savings, but rather sound and looks, and some performance.
Any input woudl be nice.....thanks

A friend of mine RoadRaces and he had a Micron on his GSXR750 for 1 season, it was the pipe to have!!!...Then he switched over to the Akrapovic and has the Ak on every bike he owns...
Norm Jackson DragRaces the ZX10 in 1000ss and says the Akrapovic gave him the most H.P.
If you can get a good deal on the Micron then get it...It was a the pipe to have at one time...

I have the Micron carbon fiber hi-mount on mine. I haven't dyno'd so I don't have any specific numbers, and I haven't done the PCIIII etc so I doubt I'm seeing any massive improvements on power but thus far, fit and finish I'm happy with, sound I'm happy with (its pretty mellow, almost kinda "thin" sounding below 7000, then around 8000 it starts sounding like the business..... ) which is fine with me, it helps me from pissing off my neighbors and keeps me from looking quite so much like a cop target.

sweet, thanks, looks like a nice unit.......I had the Micron on my Zx6RR and it made 110 hp at the wheel with only the pipe and K&N filters, no PC. I imagine I could have gotten a few more out of it with ther PC. As it was it was a 9 HP increase, cant bet it. like I said for the price....
