Upgraded Clear Alternatives - with pics
OK, so after my complaints about my Clear Alternatives tail light, they sent me a new one. Here are some pictures showing the differences:
The one on the right is the new one. The rubber mounts are from the stock light.
Other than the chromed plastic, they look identical.
Here it is installed:
MY EYES!!! MY EYES!!!! THEY ARE BURNED!!!. Just kidding.
OK, it still blinks fast, but I can fix that with a relay. Man.. The lights are now HELLA bright. I must say it is an improvement. If it is just the chrome that makes it better, so be it. Man MAN it is bright. Looks like I am having a disco party in my garage. Which.. would be fun too.

It is hard to get a good shot with the camera. It is really really bright, and it looks good.
Here is how I mounted the blue LEDS. I mounted the bolts under the battery. I was looking to backlight the license plate, and it looks good in person.
