With out giving things away I'm going to say that Muzzy is going to build engines (not Kawi) for a non-factory team and the A rider will be someone that he's had very good results with in the past.
For those non-belivers just stand-by cause more details/hints will come in due time.

Hmm...Every factory has a good near-factory effort. Honda's got Erion, Yamaha has Graves, Suzuki has Emgo...

Here is my guess and my reasons
Buell: At first glance may seem likely choice because of relationship with Drag team. But whomever it is will want to race in the premier class which is Superbike. The Buell FX team needs to run a 1350 cc engine to keep with the 600's. Superbike rules would not allow such a displacement advantage. If they did would it be somewhere in the 3000 + cc range to keep with the 1000 of the big 4. Buell could decide to drop a version of the v-Rod engine in the Lighning. But partent Harley would have to OK the project. Probably nog going to happen. They are too interested in selling big heavy bikes to 50 year old accountants going through mid life
Kawasaki. Already said no. Relationship is probably over for good. Too bad. Attack team has filled some of the void
Honda: Not likely, American Honda is developing their own AMA superbikes this year. Ten Kate has it all covered on the WSB side.
Suzuki: Everybody and their mother rides a Suzuki. Yosh has it all covered in the AMA. The opportunity to sell aftermarket parts is limited by the Yosh having the market covered for so long. Maladin is fielding hos own AMA team and The Corona Suzuki team with Corser is coing to be strong in WSB
Yamaha: Maybe, The R-1 is a stout bike. Graves has it covered in Superstock. But, if Muzzy was able to come to market f1rst with a competitive Superbike effort it would provide an opportunity to Muzzy to expand their hop up parts business with a new manufacturer greater exposure to the factory without their direct involvement
KTM, This is an interesting one. They are involved in GP's with the smaller bikes and they may provide the engines for KR's team. But as of yet to Moto GP or SB effort. If I remember correctly they are comming out with a liter bike this year. I think it's the LC8 (or something) It would provide a great opportunity to expose their bike to the Market. Muzzy would "own" the market for aftermarket parts. But, is the bike Homolagated (sp?) for 2005? Also, the season starts in a few weeks. If anyone was building such an effort from the ground up it would have leaked out a long time ago.
My guess is Yamaha

It won't be a v-twin but an in-line four, as for the color I think it has less to do with a bike manufacture and more with team/sponsors. Maybe Rob or Doug will chime in and drop a hint or two.

THEY LOVE ZX10R's!
I think this is it! It's all comig together.
