Racers, a question... Don't laugh...
Are there 'good' numbers to choose if you have a choice of available numbers?
The club I'll be trying my hand at racing with has about 30 or so two-digit numbers left, and I can pick up to four preferred numbers, and I think I'd pretty much have a free shot at any three-digit number I'd want.
So - are some numbers 'good'? Round ones, fat ones, skinny ones, ones to avoid?
I was thinking of 96 or 66 or 88, but then I was thinking - 'my God, what if everyone KNOWS those numbers suck and I never knew?'
So, if you're done laughing...
Are there 'good' numbers?

On these bikes, depending on how you put your number plate on (ala Attack or some other creativ design) You'll want to use 5" numbers and the skinnier the better. Not much frontal area to put a big number on.

Thanks everyone!
I think I'll go for the double rounder numbers like 96 or 88. Papa, 69, is of course, taken.
Topshelf, the bike I'm gonna race is an old '94 ZX-6E. I'll use the 10R for the canyons for another season (plus, frankly, the thought of binning the 10R sends chills down my spine... I just got it paid off and I'm letting that thought sink in slowly).

Always a good idea to have a number that reads the same upside down in my experience , such as 11 or 96 , you get the idea . Just don't ask how I know this to be important ...... JW's right , never a new suit or lid , wear them on the street for a while
