Stolen 10R, Jax FL

Last night 11/18 between 1130 and 230 this morning 11/19, my bike was stolen. I know most of you guys are not in my area, but if so, please keep an eye out. Standard stock Blazin Pearl Orange ZX10, swirled looking tank protector and the license plate on the left is zip tied and on the right is bolted. Keep your things locked up guys, it was 15 foot from the front door of a friends house with 5 people in the house! Don't let me catch whoever this is..... that's all I will say... I hadn't even made the first payment yet!!!!!!!

Check Ebay

Do searches on Ebay using any version of the bike name possible... ie

Kawi 10R, Ninja, Ninja 10, Ninja ZX10, Ninja ZX10R, or even go with just Kawasaki or just Ninja...

My roommate and I had our bikes stolen last Feb and we found mine whole and his parted out on Ebay. The auctions started about 6 hours after they were jacked, so get on it asap. By the time we caught them my buddies bike was completely gone, save for the passenger seat.

We had a friend of mine make the winning bid on my bike, I ended up meeting up with one of the guys, with undercover cops in tow, to make the "purchase" and caught them. They went to court facing 6 felony counts for the actual thief, and 10 felony counts for the guy who did the ebay scam and changed the vin's.

They ended doing about 8 months to a year each so don't expect any real punishment via the legal system, but hey, you can get the thieves social security numbers, addresses, etc from the cops so that you can pursue a civil case after the criminal case, soooooo.................................

Good luck and sorry to hear about this...

blazin, I looked at that earlier yesterday. That's not my tank pad unless they changed it. And also, I have my mud flap and signals here at my house from when I removed them. Thanks for looking out!

I feel for you.

You have theft insurance if you have a loan here in FL so you will be getting another.

Here is good ol FL I don't put my bike anywhere that I can't keep it in sight.

It sucks but you can't use these bikes like they are transportation devices. You have to take them out for a ride then bring em home, park them in the garage, and pull your car out if you want to go somewhere.

ABout the only time my bike is out is if my but is on the seat. I take it out to bike nights but stay outside with the bike in sight.

Thats just the way it is.

ok good then I can buy it to fix mine :P just kidding. I have the back of my bike all together now. SO I can't justify 2g's for front fairing's.

This seller's other auctions cause me to think he's selling stolen parts.

Just like with the guys who jacked our bikes, he's got multiple auctions for a variety of parts that appear to all come from the same bike... like he's got 5 or 6 auctions for things from a Gixxer 600 or 750, other auctions for a bunch of parts from a CBR 1000rr, another for parts from a 929, and all of the auctions start at almost the exact same time.

Then, if you look, he's got all of the fairings for the ZX-10, then he's also got the subframe and some other stuff for a ZX-10 in another auction.

Classic signs of a chop shop ebay ad.

Dude could be legit, but it does look shady.

DeesKo....................I just looked at that sale and I have to agree. It appears that he has EVERY piece of bodywork off someones bike. Even racers use at least a couple original parts and usually the stock tank. He states that all the parts are perfect.

Quote:
"kawasaki zx10r 2004 complete body kit.perfect condition.included:upper fairing,2 mirror,headlight,windsheld,tank,tail,taillight,front-rear seat,front-rear blinkers,front fender,undertail,2 middle fairing,2 lower fairing,inner.comes with all as seen on the picture."

Why would anybody have all these "perfect" parts fore sale. Obviously not involved in an accident.............racer? Maybe..............

I would have to put this in the "very suspicious" catagory........

I looked at ALL the other parts he has for sale. ( all his other auctions) He has a SHITLOAD of other bike parts for sale. The guy could attend bike auctions and by them by the trailer load..............

I have pics I took of a guy that does just that. 3 x 53 foot flatbeds FULL of bikes he bought from an insurance auction........................

I looked at the ZL1000 car kit ad. I like that he is "only" charging 300 to ship the motor from canada. I bought a 10R motor from a guy in canada, and my brother also got a motor from the same guy, and we got charged 200 and 150, so he is making money on shipping. And our stuff came by air.

BTW, for anyone in canada that sends stuff to the US, what are the costs for customs, if any?
