I'm giving up on off the rack suits. I'm pretty much built like Barney Rubble so the inseam is always too long. I'll be giving Vanson an order this winter unless I find someone that does good alterations on suits. I will say that my Joe Rockets have held up well after three get-offs at the track.

had a get off on the track in a Joe Rocket Speedmaster, adn it held up very well, adn a highside in a AGV in the mountains and it has nary a scrath on it.....2 thumbs up for both of them....as for sizing, every brand is different...my JR is a 46, my AGV is a 48.....you just have to put one on.....

Yep, like what he said. Most of the manufacturers have size charts on their websites. Best prices I've found are at kneedraggers kneedraggers.com I was a big fan of Joe Rocket, they hold up very well when you have a get off at the track. But now I'm itching to try out this new MotoGP Kangaroo hide suit. It's four pounds lighter than my JR Speedmaster, and is much more supple.

AGV - Hard to beat the price, for the quality. Off the rack sizes pretty good.
Seem to be in the $500 give or take area. I've pavement sampled a $450 pair. Minimal/acceptable damage.

I started looking into the AGV suits.
and it would appear I'm not average.
any of you guys with AGV suits know how realistic the waist sizes are?
IE if wear a 36 in regular pants could I get buy with a 35 waist on a suit?
Thanks in advance.
