Anybody Running the 520 Chain? I am thinking of converting over to the 520 +1 tooth in the rear. I have this set up on my RC51 and I only had to adjust the chain twice for initial stretch. I know it is pretty strong; but is it strong enough.

Don't dump the clutch too many times to pop the front tire up. My friend had an 01 r1 that he wheelied the crap out of, when it decided to let go it looked like a metal snake coming off the bike.

I have a ek rx on my zx10 and i drag race it with +3 in rear and 1 down in front and its worked fine so far, it save quite a few lbs compare to the OEM parts. This is a non-oring chain and its helf up good, stretched 2 times and been fine since.

Running Renthal sprockets and Regina GP 520 chain after initial stretch of approx 10mm haven't needed to adjust it in the last 3k only down side so far is it makes a Hell of a Lot of NOISE! common to this setup apparently!

I also want to do the 520 like I did on my zx9 but not sure which spockets to use on the 10. Any recommendations?

I talked to a guy that drag raced the piss out of his 10r with a 520. He never mentioned a problem with it.

Damn right............there is a lot of difference in drag at 150+ between a chain full of "Chain Wax" or other chain lube goooo ( and probably dirt.....) and a clean chain with one drop of Mobil 1 motor oil on each o-ring and roller........... Any disbelievers put your bike up on a stand and spin the wheel. Then spin mine............... ____________
