Just got back from the MotoGP at the Island
What an incredible day. Those MotoGP bikes have got to be heard to be beleived. I was in awe (no shock, just awe)
The FA18 beforehand had set the scene. I'd love to hear the Blue Angels or the other guys in the F16s flying formation. Just one of these things in the air is insane, but 6 together - wow.
Rossi won it with nothing other than pure skill and hunger. Gibbidibidda could have taken it, his bike looked quicker onto the straight. No excuses other than he wasn't bullish enough to push Rossi as hard as Rossi pushes him.
Sorry got Gibbi but WELL DONE !!! for Rossi.

Jealous of Yamaha. They will have the two top developement riders in Rossi and Edwards. Edwards is perhaps the top tire man for Michelin development. Now what we need is a rider that's capable of providing that kind of information back to Bridgestone. And with regards to developing the bike, we need to bring Akira Yanagawa out of retirement and stick him on the ZX-RR just to provide feedback to the factory.

An extra 20 HP would not hurt either!

I suspect it's not the horsepower, it's getting it to the ground. I had an epiphany watching a race where Rossi was getting owned on the straights by the Hondas. At one point, near mid-straight where one would presumably be WFO, Rossi was being overtaken by two bikes at once. He proceeded to pull a wheelie in what must have been frustration. 200mph and a naturally aspirated 1000 pulls a fucking throttle wheelie. Where do I get one of these things? I tried this site, unobtainium.com, but no luck.

MPH = HP!.......... At little more speed = lower lap times. Kawasaki really only nees 3 simple things:
- More HP
- Better riders (so they can share feedback info, no offence to Shinya or Alex)
- Better handling outta the corners
