Somebody is selling them real cheap, but I can't remember who. It was $275 (set) with free shipping or something like that.

I am not as pleased with my Diablo Corsas on my 10R as I was on my 12R. I've already got a set of Pilot Powers waiting for me at my dealer. Of course, it's best that you stick with the same brand on both ends (front and rear). I had to get another Corsa for the rear because the front still had many miles left on it. When the front goes, both tires will be replaced, no matter what condition the second rear tire is in. Odds are, it will be about 2/3 worn anyway.

If you still have bitch lines it isn't going to matter. I'd go for the scrubs. Just be sure to get them warm before you start hammering the twisties.

I wanted to try the Pilot Powers but they were backordered. I got the Diablo Corsa and it made a WORLD of a difference at my last track day (Thunderhill) compare to the stock tires.

I do plan to try the Michelin next.

www.ronayers.com has great deals on tires.

Fish... Ive never been a fan of Michelins. Had a Pilot Sport on the back of my 12 and it was a shitty dragtire (even new)

But lately Ive been hearing lots of feedback from reliable sources that they are great street tires. Hopefully curiousity wont kill this cat....lol

I wouldn't put another set of Pilot Sports on any bike of mine. I don't know about the Pilot Powers. The Diablo Corsas are much better tires than the Pilot Sports. I am now using Dragon Supercorsas at track days and the street. Just keep in mind not to lean on them too much until you get some heat in them. I think the scrubs are fine. No chicken strips on my tires.

ok, I have run lots of tires, adn when I had the 12 I went through a lot of different tires. I changed brands and sizes looking for the best combo. On the 12 I ended up running a the Metzler M-1 with a 190 rear. It gave the best combination of handling tire wear and price.

Now for the 10, I tried the D218's and they are shit. I took them off at 1000 miles and I keep them for spares, that is all they are good for. I went to the SuperCorsas with a 190/55 rear and it worked well, worked better and turned in nicer than the 180/55 rear SC. the next tire I am going to try on it is going to be the Pilot Power. That is a big leap of faith for me, as that I absolutely hated the Pilot sport on the 12, and on my 600. I know that not all tires are created equal, and that some take longer to heat up than others, but hell I would have been an old gray haired man before pilot sport would get hot.....lol but the biggest problem with the pilot sport is the fact they dont give back and feedback, and when they go away, there is NO warning.

I have run the Bt014 at the track, and BT010, both decent tires, but not great

I really liked the Pirelli Dragons when they made them, and i would compare them to the M-1's

The Pilots and the Avons were a good comparison with each other.....crap

I have not ridden, but a guy that I do track days with swears byt the BT012SS's says they are the shit, and work very well on the street.

Dunlop 208 and 207 series are ok, not my favorites, the 208 GPA's are better, but wear like crap, and gave my 6RR a baddddd headshake at high speed.

Roger off the 12 side of the board found him a new favorite tire, and swears by it, those being the BT002's, and anyone that has watched Roger ride can tell you the man is HARD on tires.

all that being said, I am going to try either the Pilot Powers next, or the BT002's, not sure yet, but leaning towords the Pilots.....I am curious to hear form someone that has them on right now?
If I go with the Bt002's it will be because they are available in the 190/55, which makes my bike handle better than the 190/50 or the 180/55 did. I may end up going to the 180/55 and shims in the rear shock. The 180/55 is cheaper and available in more tire styles than the 190/55.....sorry fellas, my .02 worth.....

HDL - Running the 190 on the back. I don't ride the 10R on the street very much. I'll finish off the stock tires while I'm down in CA next month, then slap the 002s on it and see.

I have the Pilot Powers on the 10R.

Very little visible wear on the front after 800 miles, and none at all on the rear after 100 miles.

I really like the tire. I feel more confident on them, and my riding buds tell me I'm definitely faster on them.

Sounds good. If I were putting street miles on the 10R, I'd prolly be going with those or the Diablo Corsas.

i have heard mixed reviews on the Diablo Corsas, I am still not sure about them, I guess the only way I would know for sure is to run them myself......

I really did not like the OEM tires on my 10, and mine sees lots of street miles, I got it the end of july and its 3500 miles already. I wore down the OEM tires pretty good, then smoked off a set of SC's, they are toast all the way around...got 2 sets of tires wiating for it right now, the restof the orginal OEM's, adn a set of SC slicks......hehehehe I cant wait to use those.....lol

Slicks are the biggest confidence builder I ever put on the bike when I was racing. I went out with the slicks and dropped two seconds off my lap times. Can you say LEEEAN, bra? Thought you could! What's funny is that two seconds carried back over to further sessions with the 207GP tires (sv 650, no 208gp avail).
