I had a 01 and a 02, I still hate the looks of them. This one is no exception either, blinkers on the mirrors c'mon. Yes it will kick ass but then the next year there will be 3 more bikes revised in the class. The old saying goes what comes around goes around.

Two things you can be sure of, the brakes will suck and they lied about the weight. Other than that it should be a great bike.

Hmmmmm......my wifes 01 Gixxer Thou weighs 437 full of fuel and totaly stock.......the 10R weighs 436 full of fuel and totaly stock.......what is the diff between Kawasaki's claimed weight and Suzuki's claimed weight? I think all manufactures calimed weghts are pretty far fetched.........

I just don't know what to think?!?!? Yes it's ugly and no I would not buy one. But geeze what are they thinking? They make wonderful products as far as performance goes but the looks/gragics gotta go! Thank the lord for Kawasaki, at least they have an imagination and stick their neck out a little once in a while.

I agree........there is no doubt about the perfomance of the GSXR line. But I would like to know what the styling engineers were thinking. Looks like the same team that did the old Godzilla movies........  I bought my 2000 Busa and 1st 2000 12R within months of each other. No matter what angle I looked at the Busa from.........I just couldn't come to like the looks.......still can't.

Suzuki just does a better job of bullshitting when it comes to weight. They made the 03 heavier than the 02 and claimed it weighed less. Absolute numbers are hard to pin down. After all, what is dry? When a mfg lies about relative weight and it can be verified as an outright fabrication, that is taking it a bit far. Now when they claim less weight or more power, you have ask yourself if it's in your best interest to believe them.
