@DeesKo
the guy (Ausnogger) who made the video also did a few other ones. In some of them the display is set to "odo" not to "time" so you can calculate his medium speed in relation to the distance travelled. Sadly, (but not unawaited) Ausnogger crashed heavily this summer, and nothing but that he still is alive has been heard of him since then.
Just hope he is getting well again.

right... but in this one, its on the clock setting, not odometer, so I'm just wondering how someone is gauging distance in this clip...
As for dude crashing... well, my dad told me when I got my 1st dirt bike, always respect it, because the minute you think you're in control its gonna prove to you once again that you're just holding on for dear life.
I hope he's safe and recovers.
Peace

well, it's just a guess. The other vids were recorded at about the same time and I don't think he changed the gearing all the time. Anyway, even if the gearing is quite a bit shorter the speeds are pretty insane for public roads. Probably it was only a matter of time for him to crash if he often was pushing the limit. I've been to Italy quite often on bike and if I think of how many diesel spills I've encountered there I know why I like to calculate some extra margin when I'm on my way on two wheels. Even if you know the road from daily commuting you can never be sure that nothing unusual is going to happen!
In this sense, enjoy, be careful and keep the rubber side down!
