my ten will easily wheelie at 100 mph or 110 mph. just lean back a little in third and slip the clutch and hit it.

third gear wheelies no problem at 90-100 just by closing then whacking the throttle open at 8 grand. Do it every day, although i have a full system and custom map with one tooth down up front. no slipping the clutch ever.

all you guys who say your 10 will wheelie in 3rd, what elevation are you at. Things change ALOT way up here in the mountains.

Mine will without a whole lot of effort or prompting....
210 lbs
6'4"
leaning almost face shield touching windscreen
Micron slip-on only
mid to low 80 degree temps
elevation probably in the 200-400 feet above sea level range I'm guessing.
Peace

yeah, now come up to our valley floor which is 4000 feet and remove about 25 horsepower. NOW try it. It's sucks up here but we learn to deal with it.

hahaha good point. but you've got much more interesting ride routes I'm sure.... nothing like riding for an hour or more to get to some relatively minor foothills.

Some great routes that only take a few minutes to get to. One bad thing, all the routes go up in elevation which saps more power. I have one tooth down in front, muzzy TI slip-on. It helped, but nothing you guys are used to. Valley floor 4500'.

Yeah, us mountain boys LOVE going over the hill to sacramento and san fran. Man what a difference. It's good for us though cuz when the cali boys come here they look like they cant even do a first gear wheelie for more than about 15 feet. Then we look like pro's cause we wheelie for days then have to show them.

My rides start at 7k feet and end out around 10k. You can feel the power you lose from 5k (where I live) to 7k (where we start) to 10k (where we peak out).
But the 10 will still wheelie .

Wheelie in 3rd, with no clutch? I don't think so.

Obviously not, but in 1st at 60mph, let the front end dive down, then crack it back, it *WILL* come up reliably.

Take ultra short gearing and no speedo healer and your fixed. If you calculate the time to distance as shown in the video, you realise that the speedo is way off!
