Low rpm flat spot w/ AM exhaust
Has anyone noticed the sub 3000rpm flat spot when adding an aftermarket exhaust or slip on? I have lived with this condition on my Zx12 and ZX9 and pretty tired of it.I am guessing keeping the exhaust valve should keep it pretty driveable in the low rpm range? Even if it means sacrificing top end power,I will not install a different exhaust if it exists on the 10.

These bikes are made to stay in the higher rpm's. If you want performance at 3g's then buy a v-twin.

Are you afraid of the bike? The only time my bike sees 3000 Rs is coming from a dead stop. If you have a flat spot, down shift!
