Ok, I am here to announce my retardedness. What are the yellow plates? at the bottom? And I remember reading about the fan, but can't remember what I read; is it easy to install? What is the benefit? (I think I remember it keeps the engine cooler.)

The fan is supposed to flow more air. The plates block off the reed valves on the air box to disable the Kleen System, a must do for a full aftermarket exhaust system.

Why do you need it with the dyno jet?

The TRE changes the timing. I just tried it out, I found it smoothes out low speed driving around town, when you roll off and on the power it's no longer jerky. Here's a link to more info:

Did I read that info right?
It kills the speed limiter but not the rev limiter?

Those features don't work on the Kaw, just fixes the timing.
