Looks like strange area for a crack to me.............it's not by the steering head where you would expect a stress crack.

That dude is bummin
Isn't there a some kind of lemon law for bikes?
I've been told if you have a car with x amount of problems
you can have it replaced under the lemon law here in IL.
Not stating fact, I'm not a layer don't know how the law works.

My friend has the same crack on his 1500 mile Balck ZX10r. Kawasaki is going to replace the frame but not the bike. He is not happy!

Seems like a good enough fix to me, at least there going to replace the defective item. I'm mean its always nice to get a new bike, but at least they are taking care of him.

He has his bike in the shop and KAWASAKI is providing a loaner car but not a bike.

They will only replace the frame and not the whole bike.

This sounds fair.

I had him go get the car today 'cause he was complaining it was not a bike and I told him he would NOT get a bike and take the car TODAy it may be awhile 'till he sees his bike again.

He is also gonna chrome it while it is out.

I do not believe Kawasaki will recall this.
But try to keep up to the broken frames by replacing them.
This is the third I have seen.
