Are the stock pads HH?
While I had the pads off, noticed that there was a number code, followed by 'HH'...
Any thoughts?

If they're rated HH it's not very deep in that territory...

my dealer says they are HH. he also said that to be classified as HH they must meet a certain preset standard for to get that rating. that being said i would think that all HH pads are not going to offer the same bite. those that just meet the minimum standards for that rating will probably not perform as well as those that exceed the minimum for friction...

alley... how many brake pad manufactuers do you think there are for motorcycles?
HH is HH. Whether is EBC or Ferodo. Notice how Hayabusas and ZX12s have identical calipers...but the ZX12 comes with HH compound pads...the Busas do not (at least 99-00 models dont)
