rear suspension
My rear suspension settings are those recommended by Sportrider.
I still find it difficult to handle tight cornering compared to other bikes.
When i ride with my wife at the back seat things are much better. The extra weight help considerably.
What can I do to achieve the same effect when on my own?

Sounds like you got too much pre-load - Sportrider report 22mm of thread showing - is this standard???. I'm used to measuring the length of spring and Standard is 178mm - I backed off the preload to 185mm spring length to get the sag at 25mm. This gives about 13mm of thread. Here is what I got now
Rebound 1 turn out of 3 (std 1.75/4.5) [PB 1.25turns]
Compression 3.5 turns out of 5.5 (std 3/4) [PB 4turns]
Preload 185mm spring length (std 185mm) [PB 178mm]
Static sag with rider 24mm
Tyre Pressure 38psi
One thing that is worth noting is that there is a big difference in the RANGE of settings as compared to the manual. E.G front compression is supposed to have a range of 13 clicks while mine has 18clicks - hence the way it is described above.
one of the biggest improvements was changing to Diablo Corsa's.

Hello Mexico,
I have only now had the chance to work on the suspension again.
I turned the preload back another full turn in addition to 1 turn done previously.
Now I have 16 mm of thread showing compared to the original 22mm.
The other settings are: compression 4 turns, rebound 1.75 .
Easing the preload did make a difference and cornering is better now.
Next will come changing to Diablo Corsa.
Thanks for your comments.
