Why black is the best color...
Ok, unless you were raised in a caved and fed through a slot in the grill, you musta seen a kung fu movie...
They had these neat badass assassins called...NINJAs...
And those ninjas wore ... BLACK...
Not blue, not orange and sure as hell, not green.
Let's put it another way. Say you were in a japanese version of 'Reservoir Dogs'. The Dojo gives you names. Who do you want to be, Mr. Black, Mr. Blue, Mr. Green or Mr. Orange?
Really badass things are named black...Black Mariah, Black Death, Black Tuesday...
Green and Orange seeem to be the names of floor cleaners...
Simple Green....Fast Orange...
Blue? That's like...Antidandruff shampoo...Selsen Blue..

Mine's black. And it's bad-assed, the way a band of dockworkers hungover on a Monday after a crappy day at work, roaming the streets, looking for trouble are bad-assed.

But I do agree...for if I got a 10, it would only be black.

Yea right. Black is real popular with Harleys and Yamaha Road Stars also. And we all know how bad assss those are. NOT.
If you got it, flaunt it. If you don't, you can always paint it black.

I always thought it would be cool to get a green bike, then paint it black. I do like the look of the black better, but with any road debris that chips the paint, or scratches, the green would show through.
I bleed green all the time anyway...get some!

Oh wait..... I just thought of a good reason for black. If it is black, they might confuse it for one of those other black bikes. So you might get someone on a lesser bike to challange you. If you have a green or orange, they know better than to jack with you.

SWFT, you have forgotten about the best NINJA'S of all the "Ninja Turtles" and they were all GREEN! Every Kawi I have bought has been green ( except the ZZR that was Black & Silver ) it is the one colour that instantly recognises the bike as a Kawi from all the others and everyone knows that green is faster!

I can believe anyone would buy a Kawi that is not green. Kawi green is and always had made others green with envy. Black is for guys that wanna be bad-It takes a real man to ride a green machine.
I guess black is cool if your trendy and want to be like everyone else-Theres a new black R1 out tooo, wow that we be great at starbucks, all black bikes in black leather drinking black coffee and being a badass. Haha
J/k the black looks sweet but gotta be green if its kawi.

black is the new orange.
it's the way I drink my coffee and it's the tasiest crayon colour (says my 5 year old)
It's the colour your umbilical cord turned once it matured and fell off, a sure sign of readiness.
It's the colour a bruise turns it it was done right.
It's the colour of our sky more than 50% of the time.
If there were three kawis in the parking garage, one green, one orange and one black, and two thieves came by, they would leave the black one out of respect.

AH yes but they were knarly Cool Dudes of turtles if I remember right! IRG a Black R1...........I rest my case, if you are partial to an Orange one better be quick as that colour is being dropped from the lineup in 05.
One other point when you watch the GP tell me what bike stands out like the proverbial DOGS BALLS...........GREEN and we got on the potium last night!!!!
