Brake lines and pads

I need your opinion:
1. Brake lines: Galfer vs Spiegler
2. Is there any difference between Galfer HH and EBC HH pads?
3. What is brake rotor lifetime with HH pads?
Thanks in advance!

I have used Goodridge SS brakelines and EBC HH+ pads with very good results, and the Goodridge are generally cheaper than the Speiglers and the Galfers......and with this combination I have never worn out a rotor, so I couldnt tell you how long it will last, I can say that after 10,000 hard mountain miles and some trackdays, that the rotors show no signs of wear....

Try the Performance Friction Carbon Metallic pads. You won't regret it.

Second to Doug's opinion. Also Carbone Lorraine has a good pad available right now too. I'm even sponsored by "the other guys" but I had to try different stuff for feedback. Right now, the two above are the best available for our bikes

Yup, have been for a couple of years. I try not to "pitch" them, but it kind of bugs me that people don't take advantage of what is clearly an awesone product. Clearly the best. It's like the Motul 300V oil (which we don't sell), when I ride my bikes I just shake my head and wonder why everyone doesn't use this stuff? These commments go for my cars too, which are also equipped.

Hi Doug,

You know, part of the problem might be PF's website. Have you ever tried to *find* a product on that site?

Also, most of the retailers (at least local to the Seattle area) are either auto or fleet vehicle retailers that aren't interested in ordering PF pads for a bike.

I went through their site for a half hour trying to find an application list so I could take a part number over to one of the retailer's sites and see if I could get a price. No luck. Also, you say 'carbon metallic'. PF lists them by specific compound numbers (93,94,95,01) on their website. Not very clear what is what.

If you are sticking to your parts, HDL, you are obviously having too much fun with them.
