Suzuki fans are gonna have a lot of fun after they remove that big ugly can. The ugliest can of the year award so far goes to them, and good luck to those that like to ride with out mirrors on the street , you know, trying to go for that track look on the street. Makes me wonder where are they going to put the front signals(cutting into the fairing???). The rear ones ? where r they ?, built onto the side of the brake light? .Weird.

Someone on gixxer.com posted these (reposts allowed).
The swingarm on this one looks like the 10R.
In this one, someone (maybe Suzuki?) put some air in the swinger, but if you ask me, I think that looks like a more expensive part to manufacture...
Note the 'points' on the fairing over the wheel - just like Honda and the ZX-6. It's becoming a common design theme, I think - move the 'bubble of still air further forward'.
Still ugly, though, but if one removed that can and the mirrors, this is sorta what it'd look like.

The only thing I like is the more aggressive front fairings, and the rear tail section looks hella cool I think. Black rotors looks nice too...

I'm sure it will perform but I think I will keep my '01. Should be a great year for aftermarket pipe sales!
Hey Muzzy/Jardine- A shorty pipe and or slash cut exiting just beyond the lower would be sweet. Would clean up the area between the tire and rear section like the undertail exhausts do but me thinks would look much better. Prolly a 4lb pipe? Would such a short length pipe design lose power? be too loud?

those pics posted before have all been airbrushed. They removed the can and did some work on the swingarm. Look close, you'll see it.

The blue and black one is a sharp looking bike. If that picture is for real I think I like it!! I was on the gixxer forums and most of them seem to think that isnt the actual "officially released photo"

The blue/white is for reals I think. The blue/black is pure PS. Never cared for the blue/white. I hope the other colors are more exciting. I'm with you on the blue/black though. Nice. Mucho better than the 03/04. That pipe is a real head scratcher though. Still, it's 500% better than a candy ass underseat pipe. That is one fad that needs to pass quickly.

They're both photoshopped. The blue/white has the can and mirrors removed. There are a few more subtle touches on teh blue/black.
I still don't like it.

Yup, fugly bike. Probably slow too. Damn gixxers-Hail to the king(ZX10)-I owned one of the ugly ass 03's loved the bike- too bad I totalled it 2 months ago when a rear went down. Funny thing I couldn't tell how ugly it was out riding it.
I admit I would have a problem being know around my area as the guy with the canon hanging of the side. My 05 going to be sweet with a full TI-Force- Gotta love the ZX-10-what a great looking bike my dealer gives me great deals and service though and Zooks are it-not going anywhere else.
