Just put on my new exhaust.......

Got my Arata today and installed it. Sounds awesome!!!! Pictures later today or tomorrow, I need to hunt the forums for what those two cables are and what to do with them.

They're the valve actuation cables. The motor for the valve is under the section between the seats.

You need to fake the FI system out - when it powers-on it tests for the valve position sensor (on the motor). It takes a resistor of a certain value.

Just remove the cables, but leave the motor in place. No need for anything else. Works perfect!

Yeah I want to. I didn't take an initial dyno and I know dyno's are not something to really live by but I still want to get it dyno'd.

I know there was some controversy on the dyno chart that Arata put out, specifically the dip at 4000rpm being erased with the exhaust. I can say with the technology available in the butt dyno, it is virtually gone, I tried to duplicate it, but I don't get the little whip. I will try to get it dyno'd ASAP.

Thanks!

As for a dyno, I know they mean near to nothing, but I will get one. Sorry for my slow reply, I am out of the country, when I get back I will look into getting a dyno. Anybody know a reputable place to get Dyno'd in Southern California?

Go to dynojet.com, get a list of dyno shops near you, then ask around.

I am back midday on Sunday. I could go a couple places but I would like to get someone that people trust their info, for example KB. I got a map from Kyle Racing, it cleared up all the backfires, but other then that I don't know if it is the most optimized or not.

Thanks for all the info guys!
