Road cut by a car
Today I dropped the bike on the right side.
Reason : when I was going on the light a car onnthe opposite line just decided to turn in front of me, so he cut my way. Jumped on the brake do probably the best stoppies I ever do but the bike wasn't exactly in line when the back wheel touched the ground so it slide on the side.
Got witness, they all tell to the police that the car cut me like hell and I brake for not have a contact with the famous car. But because the car gone and I don't hit it (lucky me) well there's no charge on the conductor who fly away after the accident even if the witness tell what's happen.
So I'm f....d and the person who create the situation doesn't have any charge the police not even take what she have to tell. What a nightmare.
So now it's not a hit and run nothing I can do. Hard to beleive.
I just don't know if the police do his job correctly (probably) but because I never hit the car (gladly) the other person doesn't charge.
Helll.............
But I got no injury at least. The bike well : right mirror, scratch on fairing, right footpeg broke.
Shit happen, my insurance company doesn't going to increase my rate that's for sure.
So like the insurance here sucks I probably have to pay for everything or my insurance rate go sky high. I'll see more tomorow when I spoke to the insurance company again.

I agree it sucks, but keep it in perspective - you walked away with your life, you walked away completely uninjured (imagine how much $$ you would lose if you were injured & off work), you probably rode your bike away from the scene, so it is OK, rather than being hauled away on the back of a tow truck, you get continued use of your bike, rather than waiting for a replacement if any can be found anyway, and you tested your emergency skills, which turned out to be pretty damned good!! And, you did the best stoppie you've ever done!
So, I am not trying to make light of the situation - it sucks!!! But, you got off pretty easy compared to almost any alternative.
Just be glad you're here & pissed enough to tell us about it!!
