Front Wheel Recall
Took home my new black 10R today and they said after checking my bike it is not one of the Vins.#'s for the front wheel recall. I guess I'll take their word for it unless I get a letter from Kawasaki. My bike is # 8828.

Sorry, but I gotta call B.S. on your dealer on that one. Suggest your dealer check again. All reports I've heard/read show that your bike should be included.

Only reporting this info because various posts have said this recall is limited to specific Vin. #'s and he confirmed this fact. I told him I entered Vin. # at Kawasaki's site and it showed recall so we will see I guess.

Marsh> Go to the "Vehicle information" part and open it, then click on the warranty information part and then you just type in your VIN # and presto there it is.

A bit of an update, now when you go to the Kawasaki site there is a PDF file detailing the recall and states that my bike is part of the recall. It is listed under the warranty section. I will bend the dealers ear again tomorrow. Thanks to all that replied.
