Zx10 Clanking
Hi everyone,
I'm new to the site. My Zx10 was broken in according to spec. I thought it would get better but now theres about 1600 miles on it. I still have this loud clanking sound near the front of the engine. (Sounds like the cam chain). Has anyone else had this problem or have any ideas on it. Thanks, Donzx9

I have a loud ticking noise from my engine. I don't know if it's the injectors or if something is wrong with the bike. It only starts getting loud when it warms up.

Mine ticks like mad to after she's warm, I don't think it's the injectors, sounds more like a loose valve to me, although a few other guys around here with 10R's have the same noise. I'm not too worried about it.

Mine does the same thing and been doing it since it had about 100 miles on it.

I guess listening to my 10 tick, is better than being as slow as any other bike.
