Speaking of headlights.....
Is everyone extra careful at night? Are you "out-driving" your headlights? By the time you identify a potential obstacle, can you safely stop? I've pretty much given up riding through the countryside at night. I really have to ride at a boring pace to feel safe. When I adjust my beams far down the road I can't see an animal coming from the side. When I spread the lights out to cover the sides, I can't see far enough down the road to stop at anything over 50mph. And when I think of the pace some guys keep at night, well, I just hope they are wearing all their gear. OK, enough safety lecture. Just don't want to lose another buddy this year. Please give it some thought.

I don't ride the 10R at night. I have the eyes of God in my ZZR1200.

DUAL and EQUAL watt high-beams AND low-beams with maximum reflector area within design and asthetic parameters is the answer in the right direction as far as motorcycle headlight systems go...and slowing down at night helps, too...

But it don't - $220 gets the job done as far as I'm concerned.

hidexpress.com - I installed the kit (albeit kinda temporarily) and the results are worth the $ IMO.
I got the 8K kit in blue - decent beam pattern and alot brighter.

ah, i thought it was a full kit with a projector. i'm not a big fan of bulb-only kits, plus it's a 1bulb kit. i'm sure it's still good light tho.

Freek - yer thinkin bout the ol ZX7 Euro conversion thang, right?
That was a cool conversion - would still only be 1 bulb per projector though.

If you're going to do just a bulb, I would check out piaa.com, click on bulbs, H7. They have a 4000k replacement.

Sure, and fer $50+ per bulb you'll soon be at the same cost as the HID setup within a year or 2.

I meant each, in reference to 1 bulb.
I haven't installed another kit in the high beam - prolly won't need to.
