Changed Air Filter today...
Not too bad a pain. Had to remove the seats and a small pair of vent/carbon canister hoses (color coded for reinstallation ease) * note that there is a pair of scres on some small body panels on both sides of the tank *
The airbox screws came out OK with the tank rear bolt left in, and the tank propped up with a 16" screwdriver.
Filter was d-i-r-t-y at 6280 miles. Lots of insects and dark crap at the edges. I'd post a shot, but the trashman came before I was done.
Buttoned it all back up, and for grins changed out the (past shot) rear tire. For the first time in my life, I'd worn out the edges before the middle. I am getting faster on this bike.
