A thought...
How to wire for dual low beams / high beams:
No-one's done it yet. Would involve a fair amount of hacking to the wiring harness. UNLESS someone made a secondary harness that would plug into the two stock headlight connectors. Ie; you supply voltage for the low beam elements from one plug and voltage for high beam for the other.
STOCK:
FACTORY HARNESS ----------- LOW BEAM
----------- HIGH BEAM
MODIFIED:
FACTORY HARNESS ----------- LOW ADAPTER ----------- LOW BEAM
----------- LOW ADAPTER ----------- LOW BEAM
FACTORY HARNESS ----------- HIGH ADAPTER ----------- HIGH BEAM
----------- HIGH ADAPTER ----------- HIGH BEAM

It could work, I understand it. I would need a 10r to take a stab at it.

Good question...That's the real qualifier, making the 'mechanical' stuff work.

Our bulbs are H7 bulbs, which are single filament only.....
H4 bulbs are dual filament but the base of the H4 bulb is much larger than an H7.
Wiring is not the hardest problem that has to be overcome. It is that proverbial square peg in a round hole issue.

Yah, I know...So the 'spensive' part would be modifying the housing, or buying another one and modifying it.

If you were to wind up with some donor H4 sockets, I guess you could cut up the back of the stock ZX10 headlight assembly and then epoxy or JB Weld the donor sockets into the back of the housing. But, remember our reflectors are not designed for dual lights and the RH reflector might give the low beam of the H4 bulb a high beam pattern, anyway. And most likely, the bulb would be further forward into the reflector. I don't know what effect that would have. I am not really dialed into all of the different lighting options but it would seem like the only way it could work would be to put 2 units per side that do not use the stock reflector. Something like a projector beam lights, like the R1 or Ducati 999. Of course, they would still need to be individually adjusted, etc. Hmmm
Just thinking out loud.....

Well I am seriously considering installing two high beams for everyday use .
I would aim one somewhat lower to not blind anyone and use as low beam. During day time or dusk I could just haver both on.
figure it will be better than what I have now.
Since I live in low traffic small town area ,(12,000 population) and don't drive much at night anyways.
I noticed when I have high beam on I am not blinding anyone with ZX-10R; just an observation..... worth a try to me .
Have fun;stay alive.
