Bikes with turbos r Sweet

I Live in Houston TX and I've seen a couple of 04 GSXR's with turbos. I noticed that they dont run a complete exhaust system, it seems that the pipes are running just about 12 to 16 inches??? is it me or im looking at something else,,, man they sound real nice, not sure if they're real good on 1/4 mile runs . I saw a pic a ZX10R with a turbo installation in progress , I wonder how sweet its going to sound.

A turbo breaks up the exhaust sound so well, that there really is no need for a muffler. Also it really doesn't matter how the air flows after going through the turbine on the exhaust side.
