Jardine Sounds

Hi all,

I did something I wasn't sure I was going to do, and put a slip-on on my 10R.

A very unusual set of circumstances happened, I think, and I got "hooked up" by a bud.

Anyway, this is a Jardine RT-One just cruising through the neighborhood on a 10R. I'd just installed it and was putting by listening for exhaust leaks:

Right-Click and Save

This one is me in gear (jeans, though, it IS 107 deg today) riding a brief shot down my street. The neighbors were cooperating, and the kids on the street were under parental control.

Right-Click and Save#2

Lastly, the resolution of the Quicktime version of the movie taken by the camera (my wife's Olympus C5060) is far far superior to the quick .avi conversion. If anyone wants the original, email me...

Now that's what I'm talking about. That pipe really sounds good!
What part of AZ are you from, my parents, brother, and sister all live in or just outside Tucson.

The Jardine RT-1 sounds awsome on the 10R I have one on my bike. I lived in Mesa many years ago back in 86 and went to Dobson High.

You'll have a full system, you'll just have to use the stock headpipes!!

Really though, is it worth another what $1200 - $1500 for the Evo2, plus a PC3, plus mapping, total nearer $2000 +? For what an additional gain of 5-7 hp over the Slip-On? Come on Racer, be honest !!!

na....I wouldnt go with the Akro Evo 2...I was thinking about it...but I can get the Micron and a PC from my brother who is a dealer for Micron for about a $1000, Throw in the thinner headgasket, some headwork and degree the cams...a BMC race filter, and it will be about where I want it.....yeah I knwo that much money would be better spent on the forks and a shock....but I am spoiled, and I want em.......lol

If I can beg the money out of momma, the bike will go to traxxion Dynamics for a set up.....bu tthat will be wayyyy down the road I am sure.....lol

KB, Does the Jardine bolt on pipe sound as good as the slip on? Any major HP differences?
