...the Goldwing might not quick enough, but its certainly fast enough...besides, any speed above 150mph, you shouldn't be yappin' with anybody on the streets...you should be keeping your eyes peeled for Ofc. B. Fife ____________ “We sleep safe in our beds because rough men

I always wonder bout peeps that want to add a buncha crap onto a bike that was designed with a specific aspect of motorcycling. Why didn't they just buy a more general purpose bike, one with a (a) bigger fuel tank (b) better accomodations for long distance riding??

Hey Runnin - I gotta 'pologize...Don't mean to be cuttin on ya. Just reminds me of all the stuff I tried to do to a 12R before deciding to get a 10R for twisties and use my ZZR for everything else. If yer still looking for a CB, go to Radioshack, they have some great hideaway units.

i dont know about anyone else, but my chatterbox DOES NOT use CB frequencies, it uses FRS frequencies which will not talk to CB's....but mine isnt a canadian model either.....lol

HDL... FRS freq's are CB freqs as I understood it, albeit ch's 1-14 only... correct me if I'm wrong but didnt the govt simply deregulate ch's 1-14 cb band and make them avail to the public, renaming them frs?
that's how I understood it....

They are not the same FRS (Family Radio Service ) has only 14 channels. The frequency is approx. 462MHz - 467MHz and uses FM (frequency modulation)

has to be more to it than just 1-14....my frs raidio has 38 different channels......not sure about all that stuff, but I can say tha tI have never heard a CB radio conversation come over the Chatterbox....but then again I am no expert on this stuff, and I do not know the actual CB frequency range, or the FRS frequency range......so I must admit, it is possible....
