Check all your bolts and nutz!
I lost both bolts on top of my rear hugger! 4800 miles and climbing FAST!

The bolts from the reflectors on the forks work nicely in place of the ones you lost.

the only nuts I've been concerned about are my own when I'm not wearing the leather and I am braking hard.

but my speedo glass cracked across left to right starting at the 'mode' button. I watched it happen after I drove to work in April when it was 1 degree above freezing.
Love that kawi-warranty. They wanted pictures though.

The only good thing that came out of it is that I went to a local dealer(on that has had a bad rap of being so in the service dept.) because I was in the neighborhood. The guy at the parts counter told me that the bolts would take about a week to come in. He went in back and came out with 2 set of bolts that one was too short the other too long and told me to keep them no cost! Not that it was the bolts would of cost me a dollar or two, but the fact was he gave me the other sets to get me by until next week. Its a start on the trust train for their parts dept.
