Well, the 10R pushes well.........

...........was at 150.1 miles at home today, unloaded it from the trailer, and SHELL is just .9 miles down the road. I figured I could make it, got dressed for work, put on my leathers and gear, and head down the road with SHELL in sight, then it happened. It spit and sputtered 3 times and died, yes, that quick, no warning, nothing---just died. So i sat there halfway between the SHELL and my house, in 95 degree heat, Heat Index of over 100, in my leathers and gear, and saw the main highway between me and the SHELL and knew there was no way I could cross that thing by pushing it, so I turned around and pushed it half a mile home, and man, that suuuuuuuuuuuuuucked. Wasnt as hard as I thought it would be, nonetheless it still sucked. Just thought id let everyone know, that its best to fill up and not take any chances, as I learned the hardway, as she ran bone dry at 151 miles

I ran out once just as I left my townhouse complex. It was about 89 out with my gear on and I had a half mile to the gas station also. If you have been to Michigan on a 89 degree and very humid day you would understand why my first thought was to leave the bike there and call for a ride(my car was at my dad's house). Just as I got all my gear off my roommate drove up. Saved my ass. 137 miles on the trip(alot of hard riding).

If you had the Euro directionals, the wind drag would have been reduced just enough to get you to the Shell.

I'm sorry man - couldn't resist. That's a shit way to start off the day. Hope the brown truck shows up soon.

No Power Commander yet, just a D&D slipon till my Arata arrives, elevation was around 600-700 feet, and did 10-11 hard pulls from a stop to 170ish against a busa, did some hard riding for about 17 miles, then another 17, then 90 mph on the freeway home..........
