those? looks like those are $159 for the rear, what size is our front, 120?

Also was looking at the Bridgestones, Michelin Pilots, and M1's......

There's a Diablo and a Diablo Corsa, hence they have 2 diff applications, ie strictly street riding (Diablo) street & track (Diablo Corsa) and i'm sure they are priced accordingly.
Yes the front is a 120/70.
The M1's are a great tire as well for quick warmup and traction but suffer for mileage.

The Diablo is based around higher mileage whereas the the Diablo Corsa is not perse. Yes the do stick well but it is not Pirelli's main focus.
I've personally had the DC's on since the bike was new and have nothing but great things to say about them and yes i've mounted a 180/55 based on previous experience. As with all things its a personal preference.

i have fitted some supercorsas, sc1 front and sc2 rear, super sticky in dry and shite in the wet (im in UK so get lots of wet days!!), reckon i'll be lucky to get 1500 miles out of em with a couple of trackdays thrown in, and had to modify the hugger to lift it by 5mm allowing for the different profile.

all depends on what you want out of the tyre.

The SC's & RS series are DOT race tires designed around race conditions and not the street therefore aren't recommended as such. Its not to say someone can't use them for street riding because i've known a few that do.

pimp,

Since you offered the confirmation you would be one of the 'few' i mentioned. I too have used RS series tires on the street for their remaining miles until replaced.

Horn, I'm using 208ZR's.

I like them, but I just burned up the rear in 1000 miles. I, too, run a 180/55 rear.

Totally transformed the quickness of the bike in starting turns. I think they stick fairly well, too, but my experience on the bike is limited to those and the stock 218's.

Street or Track?

-Super Corsas for the track ( or slicks if you have warmers)
-M1s or Diablos for the street.

I am generally too lazy to change tires back and forth between track days and street riding. I have been using Supercorsas and I am very happy with them in both cases. In the summer, heating them up on the street is not a big issue, but they never get as hot or as sticky as they do on the track. In the winter time, I have noticed a lack of grip, initially. I have also run Diablo Corsas before and I really liked them. I haven't had the chance to make a valid comparison of lap times between the Diablo Corsas and Supercorsas. I have friends who love the Michelin H2 tires. But I have not had an opportunity to really test them. I don't like any Dunlops as much as the Pirelli's.
