Riding Spirits 2 For PS2
The video game Riding Spirits 2 is available for the PS2 but it hasent made it to the states yet. From what i saw, this game looks way better than the first one. Any bike you can think of is on the game even the 04 models. However, I did not see the 04 R1 or any of the GSXR 1000's on the game. Hopefully both of these bikes are on the game. See for yourself.

Awesome? That game sucks. The control response blows greasy chunks of donkey cock. MotoGP, baby...That's a racing game.

A review of the game:
The bikes, from what I know of the more famous models, are faithfully reproduced in polygons, but the textures are over-saturated and under-detailed. Not for a moment would you believe these motorcycles are made from fiberglass or steel; everything about them registers as pure polygons painted with mildly cartoonish colors.
While the motorcycles are a little disappointing, the roadways lag behind even farther than that. While some of them look nice, with European-style buildings in the background, stone bridges over the roads, and shafts of light through the trees, a first impression cannot be forgotten. My first race was "Welcome to RS," a simple oval track. It was, to put it kindly, unfinished. There was nothing but gray concrete in every direction - a monochromatic racing environment of unparalleled mediocrity. Not since bad PSOne games have there been race courses this poorly rendered.
Racing these bikes is a frustrating affair. Even with all of the "automatic aid" features turned on, Riding Spirits is completely unforgiving. Turns must be taken with the utmost care, deceleration must be managed with precision, and above all, stay on the track or die. Once your tires catch even a whiff of grass or sand, the bike will fly out from under you. In any race, even the supposed beginner races, one crash will likely confirm a sixth place finish. You either race like a pro from the get-go or you're done.
That's not to say it's unrealistic, as piloting a motorcycle requires balance and precision - but it isn't any fun. Furthermore, everything else drags the play experience down even further. Are the bails and wipeouts spectacular? No. Do the bikes have real-time damage? No. Riding Spirits seems to be a meticulously designed simulation, but all the precision in the world doesn't necessarily add up to a good game.
Is that high-pitched whine coming from my speakers actually supposed to be the bike's engine? I've heard mopeds that are more throaty and threatening. Engine effects alone could not have flatlined the score, but everything else, from the limp impact audio to the static that simulates rough terrain, is just as badly done.
Overall:2 Stars - Best Used as a Coaster Riding Spirits is positioned as an authoritative motorbike racing simulation, but the implementation is lacking in every regard. The graphics are devoid of polish and personality, and the sound will make you fall in love with your mute button all over again. Though it seeks to emulate Gran Turismo in both look and layout, the end result proves to be a most distant competitor. True enough, the gameplay and difficulty are born of a new way to race, as bikes should never control like cars. Regardless, even devoted cycling fans would probably have trouble squeezing any enjoyment out of Riding Spirits.

Well, I liked the first RS game enough that I will buy the 2nd version. I read all the reviews before I bought the 1st game and ya know what, I still enjoyed playing it. Still do in fact. It's control isn't the best and the graphics aren't nearly as good lookin as MotoGP2 it is still an enjoyable VIDEO GAME. I like the customizable features of the bikes, even if the results aren't truly authentic, and the racing is fine. It isn't GT3 A spec by any stretch it isn't as bad as some reviewers will ya believe. I bet the 2nd version will be much improved. I really liked this part of the review above:

Once your tires catch even a whiff of grass or sand, the bike will fly out from under you. In any race, even the supposed beginner races, one crash will likely confirm a sixth place finish.
Well, as any racer can attest, there isn't that much in that statement above that isn't true.
