Tool for Adjust Rear Spring pre-load
Hi All,
Can someone tell me what tools they used to adjust the rear preload? My rear has virtually no sag and looking at my spring there's abotu 3 inches of thread showing so I want to adjust it.
Thanks
Glenn

Here is a part # of a tool that KMC carries...... 57001-1533
I have used it several times on the ZX10...you have to remove the small plastic chain guard and removing the 2 bolts for your LH footrest stay helps...just leave your shifter hooked up.....Make sure you tigten all fasteners after adjustment is made (double check em!!).

Yes, it's intact. But I've heard you can take it out. If you have a good reason.
