He's also 2nd in superstock just 2 tenths off of hacking with 2 other ZX10's right behind him(Roger and Tommy), as if I needed to say that.

It seems to me that the begining of every race the ZX-10 has a hard time off the starting line and has a hard time catching up. Could this be because
of the tall gearing?

Naaaaaaa, most likely not as every bike on the grid has altered their final drive gear combo to enable them to get the best launch off the line and outta corners.
