Dunno bro - I typed in "throttle" and 10r section and got 5 pages worth and then ":throttle play" and got 4 pages worth.

Anyway - mine had it and I adjusted it like 5 different times, seems to have stayed put for awhile now.

Follow the cabel down from the throttle, just below the steering you find the adjustment tool in the cabel. Peace of cake!

I found my throttle play problem. Before I would mess with the adjuster under the tank, but that was just a quick fix then it would go back. When I took my airbox off I followed the cable to the metal clip that holds the cables together. Well that clip was on wrong. I moved the clip and now the play is gone.

Throttle play is a real pet hate of mine, KHI spec is for 6mm free play in the assembly I still think this is to much. Solution I had a 1/4 turn Moto GP throttle assembly fitted exactly the same at those on the Kawi GP bike it has a push pull system and is really exact in operation takes a little bit of getting use to as the reaction is instant pity about the cost AUS $ 1000+ but worth it .

1/4 turn? That would be 90º. Maybe 1/8 turn.

BO, it's 1/4 turn check your throttle should be about 1/3+ now a 1/8th turn on my bike would be a real problem, vertical is not my best riding position!

A typical throttle is about 75 or 80º. 90º (1/4 turn) is a step backwards.

BO, checked the bike on a ride Saturday and measured it exactly, it is just a fraction more than 1/8th turn so I stand corrected this equals about 40% less than standard. Certinally makes life interesting the bike is improving every ride as I get more kms on it and it loosens up a bit more, showed some poor guy on a new Honda a bit of green on the way back sunday. It amazes me how some guys loose it when you run up the inside then the outside on successive turns just playing about then blast past passing underneath into the next series of turns and gone, topped off a great day.
