'05 ZX-10R's
Since there are people "in the know" on this board. Anybody have any insight as to when the '05 ZX-10R's will hit the streets? Someone told me fall but I'm looking for a more exact date, Any help. TIA

I think the operative question was WHEN...
And you can prolly expect the '05 model in April.

That's what I thought. Someone suggested this fall because there wasn't going to be any "major" redesigning of the '05 model. That and because Kawi has stopped production on the e'04 the factories would just stop production all together so they move into '05 production.
ANy definate street dates people????

Limited edition model which will be 25lbs lighter & 15 more hp weight savings will come via factory installed carbon fairings and tank, dry clutch and titanium bolts throughout. Additional hp via redesigned intake with oversized valves and custom porting. Underseat exhaust and single sided swingarm with no bitch pad. Bike will be sold like the R7 via special applications to ensure rich squids never receive custody. She will be a "Beast".
Sorry ETA - Mid July 2004
And it will come with a Corbin seat . . .

I bet there will be little or no change in either of the two bikes for a few years.
the zx12 will probley go 10 years Just like the zx11 went on for 13years.
The zx10r will have the most change after they find any problems, and its Kawasaki's new race bike.
But you never know, It would be cool if they had a Limited edition model like Michael Lee said.

It doesn't make sense for a limited edition model until they are either back into Superbike, or they win the Superstock series.

They will have a naked version thats about 18 lbs lighter with a different gear ratio and a heavier crank with a little less HP but more torque! Those fairiings weigh quite a bit ya know.
